I know man. I'm on the Texas Gulf Coast, that doesn't happen here either. I did feel a 6.0 in Mexico DF once when I was visiting my wife. Lasted like 2 minutes, it's so damn odd feeling.

Crap. Yeah they can get you in unfortunate times. I remember in '01 we had one, my neighbor at the time was this really good looking girl everyone around the block fancied. She was midshower when the eearthquake started... guess what happened after. lol
